About the Creative Industries Cluster

It is a bottom-up initiative as Szczecin’s creative companies came up with an idea to establish a creative industries business cluster. The first meeting of the interested companies took place in June 2012 those were mainly connected with marketing, graphic design, media and publishing business. Following that, in October 30th – according to the decision of The Northern Chamber of Commerce Board The Creative Industries Cluster was given a legal status within the frames of The Northern Chamber of Commerce. A draft strategy of the cluster’s activities assumes the following aims:

  1. To undertake marketing activities for the benefit of the cluster

  2. To take care of the cluster’s interests, including representation of the member in self-government and national bodies

  3. To educate the employees of the companies from the creative industries.

  4. To integrate the creative industries environment

  5. To help in making contacts with national and international partners

At the moment there are around 60 companies within the cluster which come from various branches – advertisement, multimedia, graphic design, film, internet, art, culture, etc. They actively integrate and make successful initiatives together, among others:

  • Creative Industries Fairs,
